Jobber, Housecall Pro, Tradify, ServiceTitan and the simpler estimate apps, priced from each company's own page. Several list only US-dollar prices, and two won't publish a price at all. Here's the lot, and when you need none of it.

These run the whole job: the request, the quote, the schedule, the invoice. List prices from each company's own page. Watch the currency: several list only US-dollar prices, even to Canadian visitors.

Extra users: US$29/mo each on Jobber, US$35/mo on Housecall Pro Max, and every Tradify user pays the full per-user price (Lite $62, Pro $68, Plus $80). Card processing: 2.9% + 30¢ on Jobber, 3.10% + 30¢ on Tradify in Canada; Housecall Pro doesn't publish a Canadian rate. Jobber also includes a basic website builder on every plan.
If you only need to send a quote
A solo trade often doesn't need scheduling or dispatch, just a clean estimate and a way to get paid. These are much cheaper.

The fastest reply usually gets the job
In a 2025 survey of 1,040 homeowners by Housecall Pro, 80% said being able to book online is part of how they pick a pro. In an older survey of 559 homeowners by Service Direct, 60% said they decide within 72 hours, and 85% contact three contractors or fewer.
Both surveys were of American homeowners and both companies sell to trades, so treat the exact numbers with care. The pattern matches what trades already know: someone with a burst pipe hires whoever answers first.
What you actually need
Solo, simple jobs
A free or cheap estimate app like Wave or Joist, and a website people can find. You don't need dispatch software for one truck.
A crew of three or more
Job software like Jobber or Housecall Pro earns its price once you're scheduling other people. A website doesn't replace it, and I won't pretend it does.
People ask for a price before you visit

A website that takes the job

How much does Jobber cost in Canada?
Jobber lists its prices only in US dollars, even to Canadian visitors: Core is US$49 a month (US$29 billed yearly) for one user, Connect US$139 (US$99 yearly), and Grow US$199 (US$149 yearly). Extra users are US$29 a month each.
Is Housecall Pro available in Canada?
Yes. Housecall Pro says it's available in the US and Canada, though its card readers aren't sold in Canada. Plans are priced in US dollars: Basic US$79 a month (US$59 yearly), Essentials US$189 (US$149 yearly), Max US$329 (US$299 yearly).
What does ServiceTitan cost?
ServiceTitan doesn't publish prices. Every plan is by quote, priced per technician.
What is the cheapest estimate software for trades in Canada?
Wave's Starter plan is free and includes unlimited estimates and invoices, with card payments at 2.9% + 60 cents. Joist starts at US$10 a month but its cheapest plan is limited to 5 documents a month.
Is there trades software priced in Canadian dollars?
Tradify publishes Canadian prices on its Canadian page: $62, $68 or $80 per user per month. Wave and FreshBooks also price in Canadian dollars. Jobber, Housecall Pro and Joist show US dollars even to Canadian visitors.
Do I need Jobber if I have a website?
They do different jobs. Job software schedules crews, sends quotes and invoices, and takes payment. A website is how new customers find you and ask for work. Once you're scheduling other people, job software earns its price; a website doesn't replace it.
